TRUST TRUTH

The Dictionary defines TRUST as:
Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
Confident expectation of something; hope.
A person on whom or thing on which one relies.

The Dictionary defines TRUTH as:
The true or actual state of a matter
Conformity with fact or reality
Actuality or actual existence.
The state or quality of being faithful.

The Bible defines Truth as:
John 14:6 ~ “I am the way (הַדֶּרֶךְ), the truth (הָאֱמֶת), and the life (הַחַיִּים); no one comes to Father apart from me" (JESUS)
John 16:13 ~ Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. (HOLY SPIRIT)
John 1:17 ~ For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (JESUS)

Hebrew word for Truth is emet אֱמֶת

Out of the 28 characters in the Hebrew Alphabet there are 3 characters used from the 28 available to spell TRUTH.

The word TRUTH contains the first, middle(14th letter), and the last (28th) letter of the Hebrew alphabet, indicating that truth encompasses all things and endures from the beginning (א) to the end (ת):
"The seal of God is Truth," since the final letters of the three words that conclude the account of creation:
bara Elohim la'asot ("God created to do") [Genesis 2:3])--spell emet:   אֱמֶת

Do You See How GOD is At The Beginning, Middle and End of All Things?

TRUST is an action. You trust in what you perceive will be, in what will happen or what and who you know. The action of Trust refers to having a strong belief or hope. Having Trust in GOD is called Faith. You believe what HE says before HE manifests it to you because HE has said it.

TRUTH is a person and that is Jesus Christ. Putting your Trust in Jesus will NEVER fail you. Since Jesus is TRUTH, there are no chances or risks to take with trusting HIM. HIS truth remains the same and is constant. The Word of GOD (which is also Jesus) says in Hebrew 13:8 ~ Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. {Jesus never changes} There is no higher Truth than Jesus and there never will be one outside of HIM.

We come to know Truth thru relationship with Jesus Christ.  We can see the Truth of God’s Word, of Jesus working in us and our lives and we can know that HIS Truth is everything that proceeds from the Word (written and spoken) and the Spirit of GOD.  2 Corinthians 5:17 ~ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. God’s Truth is incorruptible as Jesus is eternal.

HIS Truth is displayed from within us where HE lives. HIS Truth is manifested in, thru and around us. HIS Truth is set to guide and lead us into God’s ways and open up revelation, reveal hidden things, protect and equip us, establish us in love and bring us into worship.
This is a relationship whereby we may know HIM, HIS character, HIS Word and HIS ways.

TRUTH cannot exist apart from GOD, Jesus and The Precious Holy Spirit. They are The Alpha and Omega, The Aleph and Tav. Whatever is seen and/or experienced has been called into existence, created or manifested by Jesus. Every Word spoken is Truth that creates itself. In that one singular action, history cannot deny GOD, but instead, confirms and submits to HIS Will. Flesh will always fail, but GOD cannot. It is as impossible as you taking GOD’s place. TRUTH is meant to be Trusted and desired. You don’t need a guarantee for Truth because it will do what it is suppose to do every time. The Trust of a born again child of GOD is his/her faith. They
don’t need to see an example. They don’t have to check if it’s been done before. They simply Believe in what their Father’s Says, HIS Word, HIS Promises, HIS Assurances and They rest in HIS Love and wait.

There is an Exceedingly Great Power in Truth and it is splendidly revealed in and thru Jesus Christ.

Amen.

1 John 2:21 ~ I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

John 17:17 ~ Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

John 8:32 ~ Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

1 Corinthians 1:9 ~ God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

GOD Bless You All in JESUS' (Truth) Name ~

INVESTED

The Dictionary defines Invest / Invested as this:
To use, give, or devote (time, talent, etc.), as for a purpose or to achieve something:

Most people think of money when they hear "invest". The dictionary also defines Invest / Invested as this:
To furnish with power, authority, rank, etc.:
To furnish or endow with a power, right, etc.; vest:

GOD has so abundantly invested HIMSELF in us and through us. Because of JESUS, we have been invested with power from on high. We have been invested with authority when we speak HIS name and call upon HIM. We have been invested with Faith to believe on and in the Most High GOD and HIS limitless abilities and resources as the Creator of everything, visible and invisible in this world and the next. We have been invested with the very Love of JESUS' Spirit and it compels us to share HIM and HIS Good News of Grace towards all who will receive and believe.
We have been invested in because JESUS was invested in and overcame for all of us. You are worth so much more than you could ever understand because of HIM who lives within you.

And just as we have been invested into by GOD Almighty, we invest into the lives of others as we go along our way. We help and invest in others when we are led to bring edification or exhortation to the body of CHRIST. GOD will use us to reveal to others in part what their very purpose or calling may be. GOD may use us to plant or water, but it is HIM who brings and gives the increase. We cannot help but to invest in others as HE has so graciously invested HIMSELF into us. In other words, when JESUS lives in you, HE will come out. HE does not live in us to be hidden, although we live to be hidden in HIM.

Are you ready to be invested in seeing the glory of GOD manifested in different places and situations?

The Amplified Bible Reads:
Matthew 9:29 ~
Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you;

2 Peter 1:17 ~
For when He was invested with honor and glory from God the Father and a voice was borne to Him by the [splendid] Majestic Glory [in the bright cloud that overshadowed Him, saying], This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased and delight,

May we continue to rest daily in being pleasing to GOD by virtue of HIS limitless goodness placed in us, the precious blood of JESUS that covers us and HIS salvation which breathes through us, that we may be found worthy of HIS calling as HE has so invested in us ~

I Love You All in The Lord JESUS ~

My GOD is A God of Relationship (Part 1)

Genesis 1:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

GOD could have very easily created Adam and made him to be fruitful and multiply all by himself. But that was not HIS plan. GOD is a GOD of relationship and wanted Adam to have someone that could fill the void of loneliness and be helpful to him. GOD could see that family would come out of that union. I would suggest that as GOD is triune in character and nature, HE saw Man (Adam) and Woman (Eve) with children as HE had given them instruction to be fruitful and multiply. This called for a triune reflection of what GOD already had in HIS image. Father, Son and Holy Spirit being replicated through Adam, Eve and their children. GOD has always considered that family is foremost and important after HIM. This is probably one of the reasons that the enemy of our souls comes up against family. He has desperately tried to pull the plug on families through perversion, divorce, and abortion, just to name a few. Because of GOD's love and attention for HIS creation, this provoked HIS adversary in attempting to destroy and ruin what GOD had ordained by HIS Word.

GOD initiates relationship with HIS people. We are truly amazed at such love and longing coming from the Creator of everything seen and invisible. Time and time again throughout the Bible, GOD has spent time in fellowship with so many of HIS people. HE can't and won't stay away from us. HE loves us so! HE has even counted the hairs on our heads. I don't know any parents who have done that with their children. GOD is as intimate as you will allow HIM to be. GOD is not persuaded by anyone's physical appearance in having relationship with them. HE looks straight at your heart, able to see what man can't or has passed by altogether. And like any good father, HE wants to spend time with and be in the midst of HIS children. HE has adopted us (those born again, saved) into HIS family through Jesus and by HIS shed blood at Calvary.

John 20:22  And when HE <JESUS> had said this, HE breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

GOD is so into us, that HE desires to reside in us by HIS Holy Spirit. Now that's relationship! The Holy Spirit comforts and teaches us.The Holy Spirit empowers us and gives us a heavenly language. The Holy Spirit assists us in witnessing and renews our minds that we may be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ' character and holiness. GOD wants HIS children to inhabit HIS goodness as HE inhabits their praise.

HE is the most giving Father you will ever know and all HIS gifts are perfect. You will never find a more perfect and loving Father than GOD.

The Holy Spirit nurtures the fruit of HIS Spirit within us. Galatians 5:22,23 says:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And Ephesians 5:9,10 says:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
GOD through HIS Precious Holy Spirit, desires for us to have, be indwelt and equipped with  everything that glorifies HIM and makes the presence of Jesus so much more intimate in our lives.

The fruit of the Spirit leads to an undeniable existence of characteristics we are
completely unable to create for ourselves. These attributes come from GOD's personality and serve to thoroughly enrich our relationship with HIM in addition to glorifying HIM and pointing to Jesus' presence in  our lives. Our relationship with GOD (when full of what the Holy Spirit has for us) does attract others to pursue HIM more or to get to know HIM for themselves.

Jesus speaks in chapter 15 of The Gospel of John about us abiding in HIM and HIM in us,that we might bring forth much fruit. This glorifies our Father. The fruit allows us   to have a sweeter level of fellowship with one another as it builds and bonds GOD's people (the church) into corporate unity and function.

Our relationships with each other are also indicative of the relationship we have with
GOD. If you truly love GOD, you will love HIS people and attempt to be peaceable towards all men. Actually, without love as a fruit of the Spirit, we would not be able to glorify GOD. No matter what special talent you possess, without love, you don't point to GOD at all. All of  the fruit lends itself to the nature and character of GOD. I don't believe anyone wants a grumpy spouse or children. Not unless you may be like that and that's all you know. But GOD is so full of things that are attractive and desired by HIS people, that we are closer to HIM when we feel and experience in part, what HE has within HIMSELF.If you can allow the fruit of love to overwhelm you, you can possibly see the other fruit developing quicker than you can imagine. You have to give the Holy Spirit the lead in working the fruit to its full potential in your life. You'll have plenty opportunity to respond to and see each fruit at work. If you feel you have come short in any area, ask GOD to help you. You always have a chance to modify a response and to think about how GOD would want you to respond to a situation or person. HE will give you the words to speak when you ask for help. This time of trusting HIM and enlarging your faith in HIM is critical to your relationship. It's HIS desire that you experience the abundant life HE has planned for you and loaded with every good thing.

I will continue this with the gifts of the Spirit in Part 2. May GOD continue to bless and encourage you in HIS Spirit till next time. Thank you Jesus.

Discernment vs. Double Minded

Once again, it saddens me to see the lack of commitment or the ability to discern what is of GOD and Jesus Christ on social sites such as Twitter. I really believe this is a concerted effort on the part of the enemy to dupe GOD's people into accepting foreign spiritual messages into their minds. I don't believe the Spirit of GOD within a person will accept what is not of GOD. But, a person will try to use their mind to rationalize what they don't dare line up against the Word and Spirit of GOD.

There are several blatant instances where this is quite noticeable. First, a person's profile will indicate they are all about quoting the Bible. I will read four tweets of bible scriptures and the next two tweets will be quotes from Confucius and Albert Einstein. Really? For the Christian, the Word of GOD is the bread of life. John 6:35,48,51. It is our spiritual nourishment which also enables us in the natural realm. Why do we as Christians allow that in our timeline? (I am in the process of monitoring my timeline so I can eliminate those who are intentionally trying to sabotage my stream) Secondly, you have those who profess in their profile that they wholeheartedly accept everyone into their timeline while they are professing the wonderful qualities of Jesus Christ. So, they welcome those who acknowledge in their profiles that they are into numerology, astrology, tarot cards, channeling energy to heal and all sorts of other spiritually inclined actions which do not operate legally through and by Jesus Christ. This particular situation openly admires Jesus and the spiritual acceptance of actions which are anti-Jesus Christ. Thirdly, we have profiles that make use of godly names and themes to give the appearance of godliness, while they actually have links that are open portals to hell itself.

For those of you not really into Jesus and you are reading this, you want to know what the problem is? The problem is that Christians are not to be double minded. Christians are to serve one Master only and our GOD is a jealous GOD. GOD loved me first and I am devoted to returning that love to HIM in the limited capacity in which I am able to do so. HE does everything right by me and I don't need anything on the side that can only pretend to do what GOD does best. The other problem is that for all of those spiritual actions, there is demonic activity associated with them and that's definitely asking for trouble. Trouble may come in the form of spells, curses, addictions and darkness not suitable for the life you can live in Christ. Why open the doors to that activity if you don't have to? You may not only be harming yourself, but your loved ones who abide under the same roof as you.

Some may ask, "Why don't you just leave Twitter?" Good question. I could very easily do that and perhaps that might happen in the near future. But right now, I see what the Lord is doing and how I have an opportunity to pray for and encourage many in their walk with GOD. My ministry consists of warring in the spiritual realm for release of the captives and to bring GOD's Light into a dark, hopeless world. I don't see in the Bible where Jesus or any of HIS disciples tolerated spirits or demonic activity. They offered the Gospel and many demons were cast out as people were delivered.

Each day that goes by, draws us closer to the completion of the Book of Revelation.
Jesus is coming back for a Church (Bride) without spot or blemish. There is no way we can be without the spots and blemishes if we are entertaining them. May GOD give you increase in wisdom and peace as you pursue HIS extreme goodness and favor all the days of your life. Shalom.

A Response To Fear of The Devil in Prayer Groups

The following post is my response to a great article submitted by JENNIFER LECLAIRE, who is a News Editor at Charisma. You can read and respond to her article here: When Intercessors Are Afraid of The Devil. Its clear that there is a loud voice that opposes the Christian perspective and I believe those of us who are invested in our walk with Jesus Christ, (as HE is completely invested in us) should participate and rally in support of what makes us breathe and have being.

Sister LeClaire, thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and the Spirit of GOD with us in your teaching and instruction. It is such a blessing to gain such valuable insight in spiritual matters. What is not received by others will be picked up and valued by those who are called to be intercessors and are in the trenches as they hear from and respond to GOD. The Word of GOD so clearly tells us in Ephesians 6:12 (as you have mentioned) that we are wrestling or warring with spiritual entities and beings. The ensuing verses 13 through 17 stress the importance of wearing the full and complete armor of GOD. People who are not warring or in opposition to enemy spiritual forces are probably not in need of the armor. I take the armor of GOD seriously. These scriptures are as biblical as any other and should not be confused as objective or leaning towards a testimony that does not render supernatural evidence of truth. We serve a supernatural GOD and many people will see, hear, smell and experience things that others only will be able to read about. As a leader for a small intercessory group, I know your message was point on! I am always in the learning mode and prayerfully, becoming more sensitive to the unction and Spirit of GOD. When the early Israelite's covered their door posts with the sacrificial blood of lambs, the Angel of Death had to pass over their households without taking any lives. That blood could only cover sins temporarily. How much MORE does the Blood of Jesus (The Perfect Lamb) that removes sins forever, take authority over evil, demons and demonic activity? I love to remind myself aloud about the Blood of Jesus and remind the spiritual realm of how excellent it is in regards to healing, deliverance and/or protection.
I do not believe there is anything that concerns Jesus that HE would not want us to use and take advantage of in spiritual warfare. Before I knew my calling, as a babe in Christ, I could see demons walking in people's homes. They would break the furniture and when I left I would hear demonic sounds in my car( growling and hissing) in the empty back seat. I kept on driving and I am quite sure I plead the Blood of Jesus.
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you have shared and I will be sharing this with my church group of prayer warriors. And Ephesians 6:18-20 says,18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
{Let those who will pray in the Spirit, praying for all saints even with heavenly language, be able to open their mouths boldly proclaiming the beauty of the gospel of Christ where change will take place.} And in boldness, there is no fear. Being loud is not to be confused with being bold.

    Knowing HIM ~

    Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

We are told to be still and know that HE is GOD. Being still implies not moving or doing something. This dormant activity refers to us laying down our wills in a situation we have brought before the Lord. It's telling us to be at rest in the Lord, in the very One who will resolve the problem for us. GOD has given HIS people the ability to think, to rationalize, to speculate, to wonder and comprehend. HE has also given us the faith to trust HIM and trust HIS Word. HE gives us an opportunity to have witness of HIM performing HIS Word, promise, and taking care of us personally.

Knowing GOD is trusting HIM. It's also the ability to recognize HIM, have faith in HIM,
be cognizant of HIM, understand HIM and love HIM. You understand HIM as GOD who created all things seen and invisible and HE desires to have relationship with you. In addition, you understand HIM in HIS Word and that HE has a purpose for you. GOD is the One with the eternal vision in this relationship. What HE allows you to go through is part of a much bigger picture that your destiny is entwined to.

In everything we have been given by GOD, we must clearly see that HE receives the Glory. Resting in and trusting HIM is no different. What and who GOD saved us from is a testimony waiting to be declared, a testimony waiting to happen! If we point to our own capabilities as opposed to giving thanks to GOD, we are left in a worse state than before. There is such wealth accumulated from trusting GOD and giving HIM the Glory. A part of this wealth is increased, crazy faith! GOD desires you to walk in this kind of faith that will get the attention of others and point to HIM and HIS goodness!

People spend a lot of money to hear experts speak in order to duplicate their actions and become experts themselves. There is only One Expert that has dominion over and in the entire universe and HIS Word is freely given with fail proof accuracy. HIS Word never fails. HIS Word is Jesus. That is recognizing HIM. How can you not trust someone who is accessible from anywhere, at any time, by anyone who calls on HIM?

Whatever the problem may be, give it to The Lord Jesus and trust in HIM to handle it for you. Rest in the actions and counsel of GOD's Word and come to know for yourself, personally, that HE is Who HE says HE is and that is GOD. Shalom.

    Anticipation vs. Hope

The Dictionary defines "anticipation" as having foreknowledge or foretaste of, and a realization of something in advance. Hope is defined as what you want can be had. I believe that anticipation is a more vigorous, passionate and aggressive form of hope.
When you anticipate, you are in position to wait for what you believe will happen. There is no place in the Word of GOD where anticipation was ever let down or yielded disappointment. GOD has not said or has ever said anything HE did not bring to pass. Even people who do not have a relationship with GOD cannot disprove HIM.

Anticipation that arises when you read GOD's Word is a strong catalyst to your faith being increased and rewarded. You know something is going to happen and you are anticipating it and probably making ready for it in the natural realm. When you want something to happen at its basic level, that is exhibiting hope. Hope has a tendency to be patient in its initial stage. It can produce itself all through out the day and show up in your day dreams. Hope can be a security blanket when one feels threatened, that things are bound to change for the better in your situation. Hope is relatively calm and collected. It really does not go past what you perceive.

However, anticipation can be dangerous! Your faith has triggered a spiritual adrenalin that will have you to call on those things that are not as though they were.
You believe the promises of GOD are for you and you prepare yourself to receive. You don't and won't allow circumstances, people, time or demonic influences to take possession of what you believe belongs to you from GOD. You can taste and see it and you are ready to take possession of it. You may find yourself reminding GOD of HIS promise to you. You will declare HIS Word in the atmosphere around you and you will walk in the arena of receiving that which belongs and is promised to you. Anticipation is certainly dangerous to any counter activity that presents itself against your faith and expectancy in GOD.

    Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You have a Father in GOD who is pleased by your faith. HE desires for you to expect good things from HIM. HE desires for you to seek HIM and HIS promises for you and your life. HE ushers in expectancy because HE is a relationship driven GOD who showers HIS people with HIS love. It is impossible to spend time with GOD and not receive from HIM. Your anticipation is very much warranted because HE is a GOD who does for HIS people all the time. HE is in the doing realm. HIS Word have actions and even HIS breath is action.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Anticipate with GOD and let your faith arise! HE operates HIS Word and has never failed to perform it. Be overly expectant of receiving from HIM. Be confident in HIS ability to perform what HE says HE will do. Locate a promise for you in HIS Word and proclaim it faithfully for yourself. Then allow yourself to anticipate receiving from your Father. Do not neglect the opportunity of developing your relationship past receiving from HIM. There is such a blessing in knowing Father GOD and desiring to see HIS heart for HIS people. HE will not let you down. Shalom.

In Prophetic Gifts - Discernment is Required

In Prophetic Gifts - Discernment is Required      By: John Mark Pool
If there is any one gift that is needed more today in the Body of Christ and especially in the prophetic ministries--it is the Discernment of Spirits.

"By this time you ought to be teachers yourselves, yet here I find you need someone to sit down with you and go over the basics on God again, starting from square one baby's milk, when you should have been on solid food long ago! Milk is for beginners, inexperienced in God's ways; solid food is for the mature, who have some practice in telling right from wrong." (Hebrews 5:12-14 The Message Bible, emphases added).

The Amplified Bible teaches us very carefully in the way it is expanded on the root words, "But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law." (Hebrews 5:13-15 Amplified, emphases added).

Hear what the New King James says, "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14 NKJV, emphases added).

    What is Discernment?

According to Sandy Warner (a long-time Bible teacher and author with whom I greatly value her spiritual insight and years of history to back up her knowledge of the Word of God), she explains discernment like this:

"Discernment in the Greek language means judicial estimation, discern, disputation. It comes from a word meaning to separate thoroughly, withdraw, oppose, discriminate, decide, hesitate, contend, make to differ, doubt, judge, be partial, stagger, and waver.

So if you wrestle with wavering in what you discern, now you know why. These words describe the process the receiver of discernment goes through! When the discerner is confronted with something that appears good on the outside, but isn't, it becomes a stumbling block to his spirit. His flesh sees good signs, but his spirit is disputing, opposing, hesitating, contending, differing, doubting, staggering, and wavering against the outward appearance. Discernment is an internal war as one grapples to line up what they perceive, with Who God is, and what is being offered." (Excerpts of Sandy Warner's book "Discernment-Separating the Holy from the Profane".)

If milk drinkers in the Kingdom of God are always waiting to have their bottle changed and replaced with easy-to-swallow milk, then discernment will never be a gift they can apply to their walk with the Lord. When I was a child, I spoke and acted like one. I need to get past childhood in the Kingdom and become a spiritual adult! It's like this: when I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.

"Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now. There are three things that will endure--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:12-13 NLT, emphases added).

In Love, the Father will Discipline as Needed

"There are three things that will endure--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT, emphases added)

It is the Love of the Father that we are disciplined to move forward with the meat of His Word and be able to incorporate discernment rather than ask for a prophet to always give a word on how to live, move, etc. The fullness of our being should be in the fullness of Christ, not the fullness of the word from a prophet! Yes, prophecy certainly has its place or we would not have the gift nor the office, but we must become mature Christians that can hear and follow the leading of the Lord ourselves. Prophets aren't around on a day-to-day basis to give you a word, but rest assured, Jesus Christ--THE PROPHET, will be there to give you the right word!

Hebrews 12:6-8 plainly states that those the Lord loves will be disciplined, "For the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes those He accepts as His child. As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as His own children. Whoever heard of a child who was never disciplined? If God doesn't discipline you as He does all of His children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really His children after all." (Hebrews 12:6-8 NLT, emphases added).

Babies Cannot Discern the Meat of God's Word

"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:12-13, KJV emphases added).

Before we get a really good grasp of discernment that will not be grasped in just one lesson, we must be transformed by the "renewing of our minds." Why would we remove a baby bottle from a child? Or even an adult adolescent used to sucking on a free dose of baby's milk and then put a chunk of meat in their mouths? They would literally choke to death on the "strong meat" that takes chewing and processing. This is a gradual process the Body will need to go through in order to become "Discernment Adjusted."

Once this adjustment period is complete (dependent upon obedience, dying to selfishness and cutting away cords of past fleshly habits), we can start receiving genuine training in discernment that will begin to take root and open the heart up--to the deep things of God. It is not a toy to simply know what someone is "thinking" about you. Discernment is not to be confused with conjuring in the occult realms and to know things about someone to draw them into your sphere of influence. No, "Discerning of the Spirits" is a vital gift of the Holy Spirit for the use in all areas of the Body of Christ, yet especially those who move in the Gift of Prophecy and the Office of the Prophet today.

"To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues." (1 Corinthians 12:10 KJV, emphases added).

This is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Yet, no babe in the Body of Christ will appropriate this gift without the grounding in of the real meat of the Word of God, and the process of applying this gift in genuine guided, discipleship care--to grow the person and the ability to properly use this gift. Gifts are given by God, but the ability to have the character to correctly dispense these gifts comes from proper processing in the journey of the calling from God. Motives then become invaluable to use the "gift of discernment" in knowing what kind of spirit is speaking! This takes time to grow into the fullness of Christ!

"Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole Body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:13-16).

When you view someone operating in the prophetic gifts that literally bring forth edification, exhortation and comfort to the whole assembly or the entire Body of Christ, then you can be sure that person is on more than baby's formula from the Word of God! Know that this gift is more necessary today than ever to accomplish what God has given each person to accomplish within the Body of Christ. As we mature, we must apply ourselves to our own regimens of time in the Word, daily altars of prayer and fasting, and seeking to grow up in Christ.

Remember, especially In Prophetic Gifts--Discernment is Required!

    RIP Now ~

The abbreviation of Rest in Peace (RIP) is used quite significantly by those paying homage to a recently deceased person. It may be spoken casually or emotionally. What is interesting about it to me is that it suggests from the speaker's point of view that "peace" may be obtained in death. At the very least, perhaps "rest" is available from what could be identified as a struggle prior to one's demise or throughout their entire life. This term is used by those who are identified as Christians and by those who have no religious or faith affiliation whatsoever.

There is an actual Peace that can be lived and rested in prior to departing life. This Peace gives you a foretaste of the peace that awaits you in eternity. This Peace is Jesus Christ. Jesus is referred to as The Prince of Peace and the Peace HE promised to leave with HIS disciples before HIS death was The Holy Spirit or Comforter. Look at John 14:26-27 ~ 26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
     27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of Jesus Christ just as The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of GOD.

GOD is connected to everything in life and death and afterwards. HE has presented an invitation to all mankind to partake of HIS Salvation, Peace and Love through the sacrifice of HIS Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary. Are we able to speak peace over others who have left the living if we do not have the peace of GOD ourselves? Do we recognize peace as a condition or situation and do not see that it is the Person of The Holy Spirit?

Without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we do not have the Peace that truly exists in the here, now and later. My prayer today is someone would recognize they have a real void in their life ~ the lack of true peace which can only be found in and through Jesus Christ. Call upon HIS name and ask HIM to reveal HIMSELF to you. HIS presence of peace will surround you and you will know the reality of what you cannot see by HIS tangible Spirit all around you. May you be saved to the uttermost by GOD Almighty when you call on Jesus.

May GOD Bless you and make your provisions upon this day in Jesus' name.

    Know Sin ~ Not Sin

I have had the opportunity to pray for quite a few people who thought they were sinning on a daily basis. While it has never been (and that has not changed) my desire to know what a person has done because my response has nothing to do with their past action; I have been upfront about asking them what makes them think they are sinning daily? There was just something about their fear or attitude that prompted me to ask that question. It could have also been the leading of the Holy Spirit guiding me to make that inquiry.

Every answer was the same. "I have these bad thoughts everyday." I asked the same question all the time. "Do you act out these thoughts?" They didn't. I can't really pinpoint with certainty why people think they are sinning when bad thoughts come to their minds. I don't know if it's predicated by religious dogma, bad interpretation of the Bible, cultural beliefs or third party influence outside of the church.

It is something that needs to be clarified from the Word of GOD and then, I am able to pray for that person who has been delivered from self-condemnation where it was never justifiably warranted.

There are several things that I can share in regards to this matter. First of all, the Word of GOD states in Hebrews 4:15 ~ For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus was clearly tempted in all areas that man has knowledge of and experience about. The Bible says HE sinned not. HIS temptation and all temptation starts in the mind. The enemy of our souls can easily send an evil thought through the atmosphere to anyone. It only becomes a sin when you respond with action to it. Once this is understood, then people held captive to thoughts become free. Yes, the Truth (The Word of GOD aka Jesus Christ) does make us free. (John 8:32)

Secondly, the enemy is not GOD. He cannot be every place at once. He has a multitude of cohorts to do his evil bidding. They and their master can only speak thoughts to us and place temptations before us. They are completely unable to speak to our spirit (The Spirit of Christ) within us. That means you need to discern the voice you hear in your head vs. the voice that speaks to your heart or spirit. GOD is not going to tempt you. James 1:13 ~ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man.

Thirdly, there is only one piece in the armor of GOD that is for offensive use and that is the sword, which is the Word of GOD. When confronted with thoughts that are contrary to the will of GOD, contrary to your walk with HIM and possibly harmful to your relationships or are in opposition to faith, you need to use your sword. Read Matthew 4 and see that Jesus answered HIS tempter with the Word of GOD. Jesus is our example. You have the authority to speak GOD's Word in response to the tactics of the enemy and silence him. The enemy seems to like to use the word 'if' a lot. GOD is not a GOD of "ifs". HE is a GOD of now and when. When GOD speaks it, it comes to pass. The only question is "when" for most of our minds and that is all a part of our trusting in HIM.

Spend time with your Father. Read HIS Word. Don't take what someone says about HIM or HIS Word and you are not willing to check it out yourself. Get to know HIM in the intimacy that Jesus Christ acquired for us at Calvary. Rest in HIS Grace, receive of HIS Goodness and know you are safe in HIS Salvation for you. It is the enemy's job to distract us and throw us off the mark. He will attempt to bring fear to cancel out your faith, doubt to diminish your trust, and use anything or anyone to get your focus and mind off of GOD. Let the Spirit of Christ rise up within you, so you can learn and know your Father's voice and rebuke the enemy at all times.

May the Lord Bless You with much understanding and HIS extreme wisdom in Jesus' name!
