How Do I Know GOD Exists! (Part 1)

I was most recently asked "How do I know GOD exists?"
I decided to answer that question here because I did not want to limit my responses to 140 characters a box. (Twitter~ smile)

I would like to say up front that I always believed God was real, at least I believed in HIM, but UNTIL I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, I could not say with certainty how I knew anything about HIM. What I will be sharing now is after I received GOD's free gift of Salvation.

I know GOD exists because: 

HE changed my life inside out. 2Cor 5:17 ~ Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 
HE changed the way I thought and the way I talked. Romans 1:16 ~ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 12:2 ~ And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
HE lives within me. Rev 3:20 ~Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  Acts 2:4 ~ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
HE has filled me with gifts. 1Cor 12~ (The entire chapter) 
HE speaks to me. John 10:27 ~ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 
John 14:24 ~ He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. Acts 18:19 ~ Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
HE has given me peace. John 14:27 ~ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 16:33 ~    
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Romans 5:1 ~Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
HE has given me power. Matthew 10:1 ~  And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Luke 10:19 ~ Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Acts 1:8 ~ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 
HE hears and answers my prayers. Acts 10:4 ~  And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.  1Peter 3:12 ~  For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.

My Opinions

My opinions in this world mean absolutely nothing if they do not reflect the Word, Will or Way of GOD through Jesus Christ. My thoughts have no bearing politically, financially or mentally without the Expressed Sanctioned Authority of GOD. My words have no power outside of the Spirit of GOD being in them.

Who am I to say what is Right or Wrong against what has been established by GOD in HIS Word and The Gospel of Grace? Can I sit in a church, hear HIS Word, Read HIS Word and say "Amen" to HIS Word and not have the desire to see it fulfilled? Can I compare myself to GOD and say Life is not important and embrace the brutality of abortion? Am I able to place a Throne above God's and say what is sin and what isn't?

How do I reconcile myself to GOD and HIS Word within my conscience or my rebellious being? Do I have a belief system which is flawed with misrepresentations of the Bible?
Do I even care or do I just settle for what pleases man and the majority of the world in direct opposition to the Word of GOD?

Perhaps I dream a dream that does not permit Eternity to catch up to me along with an Eternal and Righteous GOD. Maybe if I think I can impress people long enough, I will have carved out a niche for myself that will forward me pass the gates of hell. Who knows what I am thinking when I don't include GOD in the picture of my public and private life.

Some of us will have our opinions etched in history. Most others won't with the exception of social media sites being scrutinized. But if you stand for GOD and everything HE desires and purposes in regards to man's salvation and the Gospel of Grace, then you really need to make sure you are reflecting the One who lives inside of you. Love all of God's people is a good start. Living by HIS Word is a worthy example of Faith and not changing HIS Word to suit your needs is paramount to 2 Corinthians 5:17. Speak boldly the Word of GOD and let your actions be louder than your words and truer than any opinion. God Bless You!

GOD is Able!

What Do You Think You're Doing?

Now What Again?

This brief narrative is in addition to the previous post "Now What?" I wanted to clarify the remark about the Life Coaches and Professional Speakers. I know a few of these people who do have these titles in their profiles and they are simply awesome! I am blessed to have a few in my Google Connect Circles. People need to be able to IDENTIFY what they are attributing success to and who is able to help them in their quest. I look at things and for as well, with a CHRISTian perspective. That is what matters to me. Without discernment, everyone will be to the unwary seeker exactly what they say they are in their profile. Be wise. If you don't have wisdom, ask someone who does have it.

I was speaking more from a frustrated position and it was reflected. It would have been easier to delete the post and start all over again, but that was me. Some days are blunt and others are more loving :) I pray that you are Blessed when you choose to make decisions as important as the one I have mentioned here.

Now What?

Well there is nothing more comfortable than a toothache other than exchanging thoughts with someone you thought knew the Word of GOD based upon their profile on Twitter. My goodness. No, GOD's Goodness. HIS Goodness is Everlasting. When the spiritual words you know are coming from GOD are being resisted by ticklish ears, then you have to retreat and pray for that person.

Twitter provides a platform for E-V-E-R-Y-body. There are more Life Coaches and Professional Speakers than you or I could shake a stick at (not that, that would get us anywhere).Unfortunately,there are many people as well who have chosen to 
portray"Christian" in their profile and yet, there are some less than spiritual
attributes coming from a misinterpretation of God's Word in Spirit and in Truth. I am not accusing anyone of anything. I hope I don't have to go there and if the Lord ever has me to speak something, I know it will be from HIM. God Is Good. He really is long suffering in that HE shows HIS Love and Kindness towards those who have missed the mark. He does not speak evil towards them. I just grow tired of seeing those in need of studying attempting to be instructors. They have not so much read the Word with time in GOD to understand what is being said. They pick up on key words and run with a loose cannonball down the field. It is mass confusion being solicited to those who may be new in Christ, or worse yet, those attempting to get to know Jesus.


My other soapbox is those who connivingly misrepresent themselves as Christians or associated with the principles of Christianity to masquerade New Age philosophy into their tweets. So many young Christians and just youth in general are eating this up and retweeting the nonsense. If they would discern these sites, develop a sense of urgency for their own spiritual welfare, then maybe they would be all right. One week's scripture citing Christian becomes next week's healer of many, citing horoscopes and themes about Light that do not pertain to Jesus.  Do I call them out on this in public or just continue to pray? There is a certain balance in living life as a Christian and doing what is good and right sometimes involves a "calling out", but I do want to be led of GOD anytime I venture into this area. When you feel an emotional displeasure at events, you don't want to open the door to your flesh to respond, but to know that GOD is leading you to speak the absolute right thing that will point to HIS Goodness and Repentance should come forth. 

That's it for now. I have visitors to this site, but they are usually those who have a virus wanting to share with the latest in technological warfare. I wonder why? :)

GOD IS

Let Us Speak What GOD Says (Part 1)

GOD created man in His image. (Genesis 1:27) This is probably the most significant part of any of GOD's creation. HE chose to model HIMSELF in the flesh of man and woman. There is a degree of GOD's visible fingerprint on each human being and yet  in  America, we have failed to honor GOD in so many ways. We as a nation, have thrown HIM out of our schools through eliminating prayer. We are trying to eliminate HIM from the military that protects our nation and the rights of others. We have relegated the institution of marriage to be honorable outside the framework that GOD intended it to be. We have said it is all right for a unborn baby to be destroyed within the mother's womb or dismantled outside of it. We have said with zeal in every opportunity that the world has presented to us, "GOD you are obsolete and therefore not needed."   




Then in-variably, when a catastrophic emergency avails itself upon us, we are asking
GOD, "Why?" Everyone wants to light a candle and ponder the universe with questions.
Surely we must be speaking to the universe because we have already tendered and handed GOD His pink slip over being in charge of our lives, of having a say in what is
already in His Word or giving us a prophetic glimpse into our mortal life. Like ants scurrying around a busy sidewalk, we are looking for life outside of the will of GOD.
Just about anything is acceptable. Just about anything will do. We have already established more rights and laws for animals than for unborn babies. 


But guess what? These comments are not about what is going wrong without GOD
being at the head of America's agenda or being excluded from everything HE is more than able to protect and bless. It's about HIS Church. It's about a sleeping giant that is about to wake up and shake the very pillars of humanity through the working and effective supernatural power of the One True Real GOD. It is time to shake off the distractions that have allowed us to singularly seek the counsel and intimacy of GOD without applying HIS Word, Will and Work of GOD in a tangible corporate manner that would unify America as a whole instead of a partial nation. We are busy with missionary work in many countries and nations. We are feeding, clothing, housing and giving the love of GOD through Jesus Christ that showcases the goodness of GOD.
But how have we neglected to prayerfully make changes in this nation in the name of Jesus Christ? We may not have the answers and if we did, it might be divisive towards the goal of actually praying for GOD oriented results. We are aware that some failure has to exist for the mere purpose that the world is headed in that direction according to the Word of GOD. 


The shaking and shifting of GOD's people being placed strategically and influencing by HIS Spirit for others to stand and pray in unity for common goals in America is taking place now. What once seemed to be the epitome of being founded and nurtured on Christian principles has taken a back seat to corruption, strongholds and an altogether rebellious spiritual force against the Word of GOD. We as Christians, may not have the final say in America, but as LONG as we SAY what GOD says, HIS Power will be all over the conscience of America through us. 

Discernment Needed Desperately

Okay. Here it is. I am perplexed and I know I should not be at all.I just don't like to see
people being lured into the depths of depravity because they have been seduced through demons associated with New Age.The perplexing thing is that it is people posing as Christians working this deceptive communication. They know the art of mixing a little of God's Word with their "spiritualism" as the core of their mission.  This already reminds me of the serpent in the Garden with Eve and his cunning technique. Now as a Christian, why would I allow myself to post comments from the likes of the

Dalai Lama,Harry Edwards and Reiki Healers? These people talk every which way about love and man and do not mention Jesus Christ at all. And yes, I do understand people have their beliefs. No one is born to walk in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, save Jesus Christ, Himself. But it is deception to pose as a Christian or manifest a Christian profile in the social media network with the distinct purpose of polluting minds that are really looking for hope and love.
I suppose because I have an actual relationship with God through Jesus Christ, I pretty much KNOW where True Love resides and it is with HIM, The Father, Son and The Holy Spirit. Shame on you people taking great pleasure in doing the work of demonic influence. The Good News is that you can drop the masquerade and find your salvation in Jesus Christ before it is too late. The rest of us will have to pray for the ones who have been deceived, such as we might have been prior to coming to the knowledge of the 1 True Living God. And perhaps I was a bit hasty. Maybe we "are born" to walk with the knowledge of Jesus Christ. After all, God has counted the hairs on our heads and knew us before we were in our mother's womb. And the fervent precious prayers of grandmothers have made it to heaven concerning us. Praise God!
You don't mix lies with Truth and expect it to be 100% right, do you? The Word of GOD is a stand alone application to Life. It does not need any assistance except for our Faith to believe it. I think that's it for right now. I will pray for those who apparently are not cognizant of the Richest Love to be found that lives and exists within  the God of the Bible. HE is my God. My Everything. In HIM, I breathe and have my being.  .

Attributes of GOD

I was thinking about GOD's attributes and created a couple of Wordles to grasp what I was feeling. I left my place for a few minutes to run some errands. It was cool and breezy as I stopped to pick up some coffee. The drive-thru was incredibly slow and I began to think about GOD. It was cloudy as though it was going to rain. As I almost lost myself in thoughts about GOD, I felt the strange sensation of Light hitting my face and I looked up to see the Sun peering through a tree at me. Now of course, the sun peeks in from time to time on a cloudy day, but I really felt the Lord was getting my attention. But when I picked my phone up to snap a quick picture, the brilliance of what had happened seemed to have faded away.

GOD is without a doubt, the MOST Remarkable of anything that has ever crossed my mind or had my attention. You just can't say enough about HIM. Words don't exist that come close to Who HE actually is in our world or HIS. So, I am just sharing this tree episode with the SON looking at me and I enjoyed and was blessed by it totally!

Such Worship

There is a level of Worship that cannot be placed in a time frame. It can't be designated for Sundays and Wednesdays only. It will not wait to be ushered or invited into place. It is a level of Worship that is continuous in its flowing and adoration of the Most High God. It takes on the ancient Hebrew custom of being incessant like the fire on the altar of burnt sacrifices that was commanded by God to keep burning continually. (Exodus 40:1-38, Leviticus 8:1-36, Leviticus 9:1-24, Leviticus 6:12-13) We are told in John 4:23 that true worshippers shall worship God in Spirit and in Truth.

Spirit and Truth are both Eternal and belong to God. The life and walk of a true worshipper is ever conscious of worshipping God every chance they get, whether it is in thoughts or meditating on Him through speaking His Word and singing to Him with inspirational music.


It is a level of Worship that breathes which each breath you take, in every moment that you look at the Love of God for His people including yourself. It opens your eyes in the morning and closes them at night. It makes you oblivious to earthly elements, depressing new stories and deepens your love towards those who have no idea of who God is, even though they may be giving you a hard time. You know that the Father has you in His hands as the clay belongs to the Potter. You know the fire of His Love is shaping you into so much more than you could ever imagine and the resemblance is unto your Savior, His Son, The Lamb slain before the foundations of the world. There is remarkable strength in the Truth and the joy that comes forth from this Truth, from GOD is your strength at all times.

No matter what the world attempts in denying the 1 True God of all flesh and time, His Word, His forgiveness and Love, they can never take away your salvation, praise, prayer or worship. And the more time you spend in God's presence, the more time you have to reflect upon Him in worship and cherish His attributes and Holiness.Continue to press into Him and taste His infinite and complete goodness. Worship HIM every chance you get and make opportunity to do so daily. God Bless You In Jesus' name.

The Most Beautiful Rainbow

 I received this beautiful picture of "The Most Beautiful Rainbow" in an email along with a short poem. But the extraordinary beauty of the tree with its limbs reaching up to the Son (Jesus Christ), Who created it along with Father God and the Holy Spirit (Gen 1:11,12) spoke volumes to me. Everything that man needed to live was supplied and called forth by the Living Word of God. 


God was not short in His creativity, nor lacking in any detail that necessitated a quality of life for man
on this planet. He made good. And He saw it was good. I also love the covenant rainbow illuminating the background and the top of the tree. How can you NOT see God in His work?

How Lovely is my Lord

John 4:24 Worship

I realize there are many biblical scholars who have defined and given commentaries on John 4:24 which reads, God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. As Christians, many of us know that there are many ways to incorporate worship of GOD in our lives and everyday routines. The way we live, walk, talk and even think are among our personal expressions of worship. Our giving of tithes and offerings are another way of worshiping our heavenly Father. 
I really felt impressed by the Lord that when we worship GOD in spirit and truth, we are to worship in spirit (His Holy Spirit) and in truth (Jesus Christ). My KJV footnotes Philippians 3:3 which reads, For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. This is exactly how I experience worship after praise that has led us into the throne room of GOD. I find myself trying to block out all distractions around me including myself. Forcing my self centered thoughts to look at Jesus and stay there, to press into GOD with a passionate desire that is difficult to describe. Then I am before GOD and my physical being seems to be non-existent during this time. I don't want to leave. I truly believe that worship is one of the closest (if not the closest) experiences, for lack of a better term, of being in GOD's presence. You can feel/sense HIS love for you and it is such an overwhelming and tangible expression. You have left finite time to enter into eternity to sit before your Father's feet.
That GOD would allow us to have these extraordinary supernatural moments with HIM, only seems to expound HIS eternal love. It is quite captivating to be in Almighty GOD's presence.And there is absolutely no way we could ever love or worship GOD outside of HIS Spirit and HIS Truth because we are incapable of recognizing Who HE is without HIS Spirit or Jesus Christ.

Trying to Learn Hebrew

Recently, I have had the pleasure and blessing of attempting to understand the Hebrew language. I am reading the Bible in parallels from the Old and New Testament looking for those golden nuggets that reveal Jesus and the Hebrew translation really helps to solidify this study. I am glad that GOD has given me the opportunity to do this. For a long time, my thinking was "I am saved and that's all I need to know". That is right on some levels, but the quality of intimacy in knowing and seeing GOD in the Bible is so much more heightened when you see the connections of a plan HE designed to reveal HIS love for us. Right now, I settle for the Hebrew translation for the Old Testament and maybe just a little Greek in the New. It is just amazing that the evidence of What GOD did, Who GOD is and HOW HE is responsible for everything we know about is entirely in the Word of GOD. It is not in an unknown language. It is not a map consisting of mazes in order to find the answers for the previous statements. I even look at the pattern and significance of numbers in the Bible. I mean, wow! GOD has given, provided, repeated and confirmed over and over again what was going to be done, when it was going to happen and how the rest of everything will pan out.
        And its' all true. It has either come to pass, is happening now or it will come to pass soon. It just lifts me up when I am able to touch HIM through and in HIS Word. I spend a lot of time realizing what is in store for the people of GOD and how it will be so very worth it in the end of this lifetime. I would like to share some of the things that I have noticed, as I am sure others have gleaned similar thoughts as well from reading the Word of GOD. But I will wait till another post to submit those thoughts. GOD Bless You till the next time. I will have to see if I can post Hebrew on here too!
